Raising funds is always a difficult job for any organization and in these current stormy economic times, asking anyone for sponsorship is challenging to say the least. However raise funds we must if we want to see British Reining achieve bigger and better things in the years ahead.
For any organization to grow, a healthy bank balance is paramount, and although British Reining is unique in terms of it's discipline in the UK, it is no different to any other sports club or member driven society in requiring funding. Our membership fees cover a whole host of expenses and currently provide towards the costs of our shows, admin, advertising, year end prizes etc, but to really push forward we need more sponsorship in terms of cash funding.
We have a great sport with great members and I know all of you have something you could contribute in terms of ideas, fund raising and contacts. This is your organization, be as determined to drive in the funding as you are when riding your patterns.
Collectively we are a force to be reckoned with, and together with your help we can give British Reining a more solid foundation on which to build. I am contactable at all times and will help and assist any member in a sponsorship pitch or fund raising. As this is a dedicated sponsorship area, members achievements can be listed here and packs, together with a DVD will be available soon for you to give to potential sponsors. Also fund raising events and ideas will be posted with our ‘Target Funding’ and levels achieved for all to see. (Blue Peter eat your heart out!)
We have a great product to sell, 'British Reining' so go out there and sell it. We cannot keep funding from the inside and need new major sponsors to achieve our goals. We have come so far in the last few years, and the next few have some very exciting events coming up, so lets prove we can do it and build an amazing future for the sport of reining in the UK.
